![]() that is a knarly dip in torque. its really affecting the horsepower. if that dip can be straightened out, i have no doubt it will raise the HP curve 20-25 more ponies. does this engine have any kind of VVT? if so thats where it would be tuned out. Yes the 4U-GSE motor has VVT. Someone will eventually figure out the torque dip. Its gone on turbo applications, but I'd like to see a N/A fix with mods in conjunction with a tune. It feels very planted - even for having sh*tty Prius tires on it. Oh this, this I want to discuss. Why is the wear rating something like 140 or 240 when it's a low rolling-resistance design, neither a grippy tire? Baffled me when I saw that. 240 tread rating.
