so I swapped in an LSD e153 this past weekend ( a total bitch project so far) and the damned thing wont completely disengage. I was told a GT slave cylinder would be fine to use, so I used that, I also have a GT master cylinder installed so maybe that is the problem? I have the peddle inside the car adjusted so far that the bolt isn't even touching it anymore.
seriously need help I'm sick of all of these problems Ive been having... Kevin |

I literally just went through this process. Same exact problem, the new clutch would not disengage completely thus I couldn't shift into gear. In my case the stiffer pressure plate simply caused the old seals in my master to finally give out. So after a convoluted process finally I installed a new master cylinder and the problem went away. The key is to vacuum bleed the system; the old fashioned two man approach tears up the seals in a new cylinder too much and you end up where you started. Which is exactly what happened to me
