Just took a time machine back to '01, just finished watching the first two movies in the series, wow. I almost forgot what bright colors and big fat body kits the tuning scene had back then. The movies are still good and fun to watch but the cars look almost ridiculous to today's scene. Anyone on the forum own their 6gc back in that era and succumbed to these trends?

i liked the first one, but when you go back, you realize they could have had alot of better cars. the second one my favorite part is when he is in his skyline at the beginning, the gap from the first to the second one. Other than that they got worse. how do you go from import cars to american muscle in the last one. It is such a joke. the best cars i think were in the first one. The second one, seriously an eclipse and a lancer, it wasnt even a evo 8 or anything special. tokyo drift was okay but lame when they go to drifting a mustang at the end. They have actors who have no clue how a car even runs. i do like Paul Walker tho, because he actually races cars in real life. Its unbelievable.
