just a few days ago my car started dying while i drive. I didnt drive it for a while because my radiator was leaking so this problem came out of nowhere. I should note that before i parked it because of the radiator leak, my battery died because i left the headlights on. ive killed my battery about 4 times before this because of the same reason. Do you guys think that the culprit is the battery? The car idles fine btw. It only dies when i'm driving

Sounds like alternator and battery are on their way out. Would also check your grounds. Could try cleaning your battery posts and terminals. battery looks clean as a whistle. and it readds normal i think.. just read it again this morning while off and it was 12.4. If it was the alternator, would'nt it show other symptoms before it actually gets to the point where your car shuts off while driving?. or it doesnt matter?. i mean i idle fine. |
