Hello I have a 1999 toyota celica gt and I love it to death but I'm turning it into a project car. Fist things first I'm converting it to a 5 speed manual. I want to make the job as close as it would be out of the factory as possible only problem is PARTSSSS!!!! I don't know what parts I need for the conversion or where to get them can anyone help me out?

I feel really confused i keep getting different answers from different people I just want to find exactly what I need so when I get to working on it im not left wondering what to do also I cant find anywhere that sells these OEM parts.

Well theres 4 possibly different main ways the swap can go.

*ST->Pre-96
*ST->Post-96
*GT->Pre-96
*GT->Post-96

And then after that you have even more different ways the swap can go with wiring and removal of parts and so on.

So there is going to differentiation between the swap details. Not to mention, a lot of stuff people list is optional and not necessary for just a core swap.

I bought everything for a core, and for everything else I want, I'm making it. Saves money, time trying acquire parts, and spared me enough change to get all new mounts.

OEM parts: Toyota, 6GC B/S/T, Ebay, other assorted internet sites.
Aftermarket parts: O'Rileys, Advance, AutoZone, Misc. autoparts stores, 6GC B/S/T, Ebay, other assorted internet sites. I've even made a few stops at Lowes for parts too.
