Wow ... I think people aren't getting what I'm saying. I was AGREEING that there will be haters and that it is unwarranted. I was saying that I'm smart enough that I would never buy and FR-S/BZ-R/GT86 out of love for Toyota because it's not one and people need to realize that and stop hating on it. It's still an incredible car and designed very well IMHO and should be loved for that reason, or if your into Subaru's.
Am I disappointed that Toyota had little to do with the first sports car that has held one of their (or pseudonym) moniker's in over a decade (excluding the SC/Soarer)? Sure I am ... I'm really looking forward to the next Toyota designed sports car as much as the next enthusiast. But this car is still a beautiful piece of work. Not hating on it in anyway or form. When I was saying I wouldn't buy it "because of my deep love of Toyota and their engineering" I meant that wouldn't be the REASON I'd buy it. If I were to buy one, it's because I also love Subaru and believe that they are almost as brilliant engineers. -------------------- 99 Celica GT-S
