Well, me and my cousin finally have enough money saved up to start our own small business, a garage, he studied motors and what not, i studied autobody technician. One of the things we would like to do is take a old japanese car that's dirt cheap with minor things to do to it and sell it for profit. So, im trying to get a feel for the market and would like you guys to give me your opinion on whats hot in the old japanese car market and what should be our first project.

make sure you budget yourself. profit is key. honda, toyota is a good start. i daily a 1990 civic hatch and people go crazy when they see it.
just finished a 92 corolla for a friend. it ned a new trans. we fixed it up. new axles, seals, battery, tires. i sold him the car for $200. he has a nice spare car and paid about $1,100 all said and done. point is car in the early 90's still are sought after due to impressive mpg's... got 40+ last tank on my civic. just gotta know your market and find good deals. live live on craigslist and have cash in hand. lol -------------------- |
