I poped my GF's friends car on her chevy prism 2001 and i was amazed to see VVTI and what looked like a corolla/celica motor~~~~~ WHAT IS UP~

Actually, the Chevy Tracker is a Suzuki, just like the Metros were back in the day. GM doesn't buy Toyota engines, they rebadge toyota cars as their own. It's called Platform sharing. A lot of companies do it. Dodge/Mitsubishi have been and are still doing it (Talon/Eclipse/Laser). Now Daimler/Chrysler is designing the new Chryslers on their Benz's. The Crossfire is a Benz hatchback. Ford/Mazda do the same thing. Those little Mazda trucks are Ford Rangers. They say the new Taurus may be based on the Mazda6 and the new Focus may be the Mazda3. GM still designs their own cars, they just suck. i.e. the last Cavalier. |
