I don't know if the seller put their old granny in the car for the sales appeal, or if it was owned by a little old lady. 60K miles is awfully low, and I wouldn't mind having a second '97 vert GT. |

Yeah, I paid $4,000 for my '97 last month, but it's an automatic with 120,000 miles. Runs great, looks new, and the dealer ( real new car dealer
 ) gave me a 3 month/3,000 mile full powertrain warranty. I bet if I showed the red vert to my wife, she'd say go for it.....SERIOUSLY!  P.S. I just looked at the 10 day forecast, and it's mid 50's all the way. Anything over 50 degrees is top down for me, but I do leave the windows up when it's that cold....and heater on. My last convertible was an MG Midget back in 1978, and while it was fun, my '97 Celica is light years ahead of it in terms of handling and room (I'm 6'1", and 190lbs). If that Jersey Celica was silver/gray, I'd be over there now.
