 12inch sony xplode subs |

i jsut bought 2 12inch sony xplode 1200 watts each subs i wanted to know what anyone recommends for an amp,,, should i get the 1000 xplode amp or the 800watt amp from sony

I just bought 1 10 inch sony sub(the 1100 max one).
I have it bridged to 2 OHMS with a jensen amp(running 100watts RMS and 400 Max) and it rules! one of these 10's plays louder than the 2 Rockfords I have!  People have had bad luck with the amps though, but there is a new model at Best Buy....It's black....they look sweet.....but I don't know if they're good. If you push the subs at or close to peak power they will Blow, the 12's are 350 Watts RMS so get a 2 channel that puts out 600-800 or 1000 at the MOST. Even then THey will make your ears BLEED  Coomer your info:10's:300RMS, 12's:350RMS they are 4OHMS single voice coil. |
