so i bought a set of projectors but the housing needs to be rechromed. i already removed the glasses using the oven. i tried aresol can paint but i failed. i used the method of glossy black paint and chrome paint on top of it but didnt work. i read that for these parts you need to "vacuum metalize" which i have no idea what it is nor idea how much it costs and idk where to get it done. any help?

So far, I have yet to see someone do a black chrome vacuum plating job. I think it would absolutely sick! Most people go the spray-on route.

I think it's sprayed with black paint? I don't know. Lol. But yea it's black. Looks nice but I think chrome would be a better choice. More OEM look. -------------------- |
