I was surfing through the net about the 5sfe because I was bored and I noticed that there were two different blocks made for the 5sfe? It seems like the Camry came with the short blocks and our celica and mr2 came with the long block? What's the difference? More power with the long block is what I'm guessing?

correct. the short block is the rotating assembly, the long block is the entire engine. manifold/sensors/brackets/ etc. do not normally come with a long block.
the camry and celica 5S are almost the same. there might be a few very minor differences, but for the most part, they are interchangeable -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
