Because they're completely different I've heard. It's not a massive ballache to do but the runners on the 7GC are narrower / shorter than the 6gc ones so you need to fabricate the things. And the backs of the 7 are totally different to the 6 so they'd likiely not work too well
 Cheers Edser. If yours is a prefacelift you'll need to faff with the wiring a little bit (was a total ballache if I'm honest lol) If it's a facelift it's much easier mate but it's soooo much nicer to drive with  Hopefully the seats will be getting fitted tomorrow so pics to follow I suspect
