How do I install a cd player?, Any reference or links? Options

I have no clue on how to replace my stock cd player with another head unit. Do you guys know any good website on how to install an aftermarket cd player or how to wire my electrical neon lights elsewhere besides using the cigarette lighter as a power source?

everything I would have suggested has been said, except for this: When wiring your head unit to the new harness, take all of your same color wires and twist them around each other on both sides of the harness. This means like a neat little mini 2 strand braid. You should have two wires for each speaker, being white for front left, grey for front right, green for rear left, purple for rear right. I suggest you braid them so that it increases the amount of work needed to pull the wires out of their positions, meaning you will be less likely to have problems with wires slipping out on you. That, and it looks neat.
