Hi everybody, I recently replaced the clutch and flywheel on my 94 celica gt. However, I failed to take pictures or label stuff. So I am left with a cord and a a bolt that has no home. I do not know where to connect one cord from the negative terminal of the battery and I have circled that in red. I have also pictured the bolt that I do not know where to place. I also would like to confirm the wire from the body to the transmission that I have circled in green. I believe I had found the right place but I just want to confirm. Anyways could anyone please help me by telling me where these items go? I have absolutely no idea where to put the bolt or the wire from the battery.

One ground wire goes to the top of the transmission, where you have the green arrow/circle.
The other ground wire, the big one in the first picture, goes like a washer onto one of the large bolts that hold the bellhousing to the engine block. I believe on mine it was the center, highest bolt, but it really doesnt matter which one you pick so long as you get it really tight. This ground wire is mostly for the starter So just keep it A trick I learned a long time ago is to look at the corrosion marks that nuts, bolts and washers leave on each other and on the surface they tighten down against. The head/shoulder of the bolt may be larger or smaller than its companions, and you can see this with the rusty circles they leave behind. The long bolt looks like one of the motormount centerbolts, what size wrench fits the head? This post has been edited by Special_Edy: Dec 26, 2012 - 11:14 AM |
