Hi all, done a lot of reading on this forum and its been a great help with my conversion. ST202 convertible with 3rd gen 3SGTE and ST185 gearbox with MR2 Turbo box bellhousing - because I got both very cheap and the MR2 box had LSD too. Engine and box are in the car and is all running well, but I've heard that one of the axle can pop out and a spacer in needed to be machined from a old axle. I have the part needed But how thick should the spacer be made? What bolts can I then use as the std bolts will not be long enough? |

As far as I can tell, it's a 1/2" spacer. Lots of good information in this thread but I lost interest so I just skimmed most of it.
