I noticed earlier today that my motor starts to make a squealing noise around two grand. I popped the hood and revved it manually and the noise is coming from the timing belt / accessory belt / pulley area. I'm assuming it could be an accessory belt or a pulley with bad bearings, correct? I've never heard of a timing belt making such a noise. My accessory belts are going on three years since their last replacement.

Unless a bearing is going in your alternator, I'd say do what Tiga said.
