I ordered a carbon fiber gt4 hood for my 94 gt with a swap but having problems getting it to fit do I have to do any modifications to the latch and it seems to have about a one inch gap in the front against my stock gt bumper any suggestions?

Yes, but the bumper support bar is different as well. There's a thread in the stickies covering what needs to be done to put a GT4 front end on. I'd grab the link for you but I'm posting from my phone and being lazy. You will need an extended hood latch for the hood, a GT4 bumper with the upper bumper support (or bolts acting as spacers,) a GT4 crash bar or modify your existing crash bar, and a camera to take pictures when you're finished. Like I said, check the stickies. There's s thread with detailed descriptions and pictures.
Or you can leave it as is with the gap. Some people prefer that look. You will still need an extended hood latch though. Edit: I'm done being lazy. Here's the link.
