I was tinkering with my heater control cluster today.. it was a bit of a twat to get out - mainly the manual contrl cables.. but I did get access to the 3 bulbs in it.. AND may have found replacements !!
Having got the unit apart i went onto t'internet to find replacements and found these >>> http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm type 74 bulbs on a base.. Instrument Cluster and Gauge Backlights Twist-Lock type instrument LED bulbs consist of a T 1 1/2 (#73/74) miniature LED bulb plugged into a twist-lock socket base. LEDS have wide viewing angle. Available with White Blue Green Red and Amber LED Overall length: 21mm Extends into cluster: 14mm needless to say along with a few other bits of Autoillumination.com (I bought from there before i found this site) I have got $50 worth of bulbs being sent o min ein the UK as there's f'all like these available in the uk ! |
