Upgrading engine internals for my 7afe, Pistons, rods, cams , ect Options

So I was talking to this mechanic about really sooping up my engine itself. I was talking about stronger internal components, also boaring my block as well. The whole 9 yards. Now I know there are very few aftermarket parts for the 7afe, and virtually no upgraded engine internal parts. Soooo, I thought about switching out some performance parts w the corrolla . I know the corrolla has a 7afe. I also know they have a legendary 86 model, (ae86). Does anyone know of any switchable parts that I could use. Maybe find some lighter weight flywheel in corrolla trani. I Havnt looked Into corrolla parts so if anyone knows any I could use please tell me.

If all else fails w the corrolla parts . I plan on forging my bottom end , but don't know who could do that for me . I know the 7a rods are really weak and I actually got thus idea reading a post on a dif Celi site . I also know you need to change your stock ecu when you change major engine components like pistons or cams. The compression rate will fur sure b dif. I read some posts on here and was thinking of buying this ecu called squirt I think it was . If anyone knows a good am ecu, hmu.

Firstly 3sgte has a single turbo, not twin setup. That aside the 5sfe might be 2.2L but its built for economy, not HP. The head on the GT is the biggest thing it has going against it, its not made to flood in massive amounts of air and fuel into it. Don't let a cars displacement fool you, there's many other factors involved.

Buy a 97+ 5sfe and slap everything but the bottom end of the 3sgte in it. A 5sgte is one bad motor. Not worth the time as a straight swap for most, but its incredible.

Don't waste your time with the 7a is your looking for power, not mpg.

Thanks man . I think I'll just put the 7a project to the side . But I have to ask, idk if it was stock or not but I was reading about this duel cam 7afe that came w a turbo in Europe . Do you know of?
