2 different taillights?, one missing the third red light Options

this will be hard to explain but somebody will understand hopefully

on my drivers side (gt hatchback) the light goes red light - reverse light - red light amber corner with red lense (third red light in the middle of this amber lense)

on my passenger side the light goes the same except on the amber corner piece, theres no red lense and no light.

any explanations for this? the light was obviously replaced, but what kind of light is this?
