a project car??? 92 318i? Options

Ok.. so theres this car for sale down the street from my buddies g/f's house. Its a 92 318i. It has 236k on it, ran perfect till a few days ago, when it stoped runing. My guess its the stock fuel pump went up. BUT the body and interior is clean and flawless.. looks like almost brand new. It was used as a daily driver and they have had it sence 14k.

There asking $1500.. well he said his wife wants $1500.. he said if they dont sell it by the end of the week there giving it to her brother to part out, which i know i could part out over 2k.. My brother asked if he would posible take $120.. he said the wife wants 1500, but if you say you have it and want it, he would see what he could do.

My brother wants it as a daily, im telling him its not worth it, but I want it as a project car what do you think?

Also its a 4 door black tan leather, in perfect condition.. 5 speed..
