Did he mean to call? Options

So a guy i saw for nearly 3 months and I broke up back in the begining of august. I tried to talk to him a few times after our break up and quickly learned it was a waste of time. The last time i tried to call him was probably early september. Well anyways i was doing my makeup when my phone rang with a number i didnt recognize. I picked it up and a guy said "hi. is Nickolay available?" I replied with "im sorry I think you have the wrong number" and then he said "oh ok thanks bye" so afterwards i was like Damn he sounded hot, but that number seems familiar and then it hit me - it was Erik. So im curious as to whether he accidently called me or not
(why would my number still be in his phone except to know when im calling so he can ignore - which i havent called for over a month now) and my name - NATALIE is close to NICKOLAY so i mean he could have accidently hit send on the wrong name but i mean ive been known to play a game and call a boy i used to like and ask for someone else just to see what would happen.

Anyways i basically need some peoples opinion and as much as i would like to hear he meant to call i need to hear the truth from teh 6gc family of "HE DIDNT MEAN TO CALL"
