 HIR bulbs (Not HID Bulbs), for non projector headlights |

recently saw some stuff about HIR bulbs on another forum and was curious if anyone has ever tried putting them in the stock reflector headlights of the 6gc?
was just curious if i could expect results like these if i put them in our headlamps (left stock right HIR):  how are the these compared to other bulbs like silverstars? they are about $60/pair and last about 1000hrs(low-beam) or 255hrs(hi-beam) or so...
