Movie: Kids, ANyone seen it? Options

I saw this movie when I was in 4th grade. I think I wanted to see it cuz my brother and my parents were talkign about it and so they rented it for me and I watched it. Looking back im suprised they let me watch it but that movie has always been in my mind. I think about 90 percent of parents wouldnt let their kids watch this movie if they were under 16 but in my opinion I think we need to stop hiding things from kids and stop trying to shelter them so much. I was raised on MTV and adult subject matter. I stayed away from the party scene, never smoked cigarettes, never done a drug, didnt drink till I was about 18 and can count how many times ive been very drunk on both hands (im nearly 22 now) , removed myself from bad situations etc and I think its because of how I was raised.


Anyways I just wanted to see the amount of people on here who have seen this movie. If you havent then I suggest seeing it.

The movie Kids is a view of a city kids world. You watch Telly, a unsupervised teen in the streets of New York taking advantage of innocent young girls not knowing he has HIV but one of the girls he slept with a year before does. In knowing this she runs the streets looking for him while he plans to deflower another young girl. And in the midst of all this, you see kids as young as 10 or 11 using drugs and alcohol with some of the older kids.
