 Need Help, Clattering Noise |

Okay, so today I'm on my way to the turnkpike to head to my cabin for the weekend, and a car pulling a trailer slammed on the brakes (the lights didnt light up on the trailer) and I was in 5th gear so I got on the brakes pretty hard, pretty fast, and didnt get the clutch in fast enough so the car stalled. I figured no problem, I started it back up and it didnt want to go into gear so I pushed it off the side of the road so I didnt block the traffic. So I try to put it back into gear and it just kinda clutters/clanks and would only sometimes go in...and then once its in it would clutter and clank even more. Its not a grinding sound, the best words I can think of are cluttering/clanking. I have no idea what the problem could be? When the car is NOT running, you can go through the gears but as soon as its running then it does it. Help please
Edit: The car is lowered 4", so I dont know if that will be any helpfull information as far as the axles go or anything This post has been edited by Red94Celica: May 25, 2007 - 5:44 PM |
