Hi Everyone,
I'm brand new here; I didn't even know this place existed. I'm the original owner of a '97 Celica GT convertible. It has been a great car for me, however it is now starting to have various problems. My most recent problem is the rear windshield has separated in areas from the convertible top. I ended up with a significant amount of water in the boot before I realized I had a problem. My budget is nearly nil so this repair has got to be a do-it-yourself job, and I'm certainly not at all handy around cars. But even to me, it looks like it shouldn't be that hard to fix. I'm assuming I need some kind of adhesive and to lower the top enough to ease the tension. If that's correct, then what kind of adhesive and how the dickens to I get the window and top to stay joined together, since I can't think of a way to clamp it together. I hope all this doesn't sound too dumb, but I sure could use some guidance here. Thanks. Joyce |
