How hard would it be to adapt a 4A-GE Bluetop from a MR-2 to fit in my celica? What parts would I need to fabricate or buy to make this easier.
The reason I ask is because I think I found a cheap ~$200-$400 4A-GE that I am probably going to rebuild/build up as a winter project and hopefully for spring next year, fit it into my Celica. I know the MR-2's engine has the same orientation as the AE92 and such but I think the throttle/transmission linkage is reversed so before I buy anything I want to make sure I have everything I need to make this work. Also, I was wondering if anyone has ever built-up a 4a and if there were any recommended internal mods to do while I rebuild the thing (Cams mostly), and if I had to use the old 4A-GE ECU or if I could use a stand-alone. -------------------- ![]() (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny.
