HI, Im new to this site so not sure on some slang words you use lol (rotor?????)
Straight to the point, put new handbrake cable on passenger side as old one had seized and burnt out my shoes, so I changed the shoes on both sides. Problem I have now is no matter how I adjust the each drum and the h/brake cable at the h/brake the brakes wont hold the car from going backwards, it holds it going forwards but not back. Im not a newbe to this type of car, its my fourth celica, 2nd Gen 6, the best model ever!!! I have a repair Manuel which is american but still very good, I have followed all it says in there with no result.Im no thicko when it comes to cars but this has stumped me and I dont want to through my money towards Mr T who charges far to much lol. PLEASE HELP ME, THANKS |
