 Shifter ideas, anyone?, Have a couple ideas for when my 7th gen gets here |

So I'm going to be ordering a 7th gen shifter and am in the process of stitching up a new boot and finding a different knob. And I'm curious, I like the look of some other cars that have a short boot and a polished shaft coming up to the shifter, anyone tried something like this? (obviously ours are round)
