So i noticed that on cold starts ill get a bit of knocking that goes away as soon as the idle stabilizes, but will knock if i revv... now the weird thing is, if i revv up and hold it, the knock will happen until the engine speed stabilizes again, even if its 2500 rpm. now this will go away after a few minutes, and wont happen the rest of the day. even if the motor gets cold again.
The car doesnt burn much oil.. 3000 miles after the change im at a little above halfway. no leaks. the car does feel a bit slow but it IS an auto ST after all lol.. 95 7afe, 240,000miles ideas? piston slap? valve tap? -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated.
