 Engine noise/smoky start up, Help me out |

So I just got a 1994 celica gts, I've owned a 5gen before and had a lot of fun with it, so I chose to buy another celica, drove an hour or two away and picked me up a nice green gts, it needs some minor bodywork and some engine work but I don't really care as its not my dd, after bringing it home and putting a new distributor, plugs, wires, timing belt and water pump it has been running good (it has 215xxxkm on it) I've noticed when I'm off the throttle there seems to be what I think is valvetrain noise... Anybody heard of this? Also I'm getting some blue smoke upon start up.... Any help would be hugely appreciated.
I also have a 3rd gear synchro problem which I hear is common but I've came up with a way to shift that doesn't grind! Thanks from ontario Canada!! |
