i got a 94 stock gt with 204k. the problem is when I let the car sit overnight or for a couple of hours its a real problem to turn it back on. I cant figure out exactly what it is.
My story is the distributor, plugs, wires fuel pump and filter are about 2 1/2 yrs old. I thought it was ignition coil cuz I was doing some researching on here and replaced it. Still having same problem, fuel pump still primes when you turn key and fuel is still passing through filter. I know its a fuel problem because when I turn the key the car wants to turn on and if I press the gas pedal as if I was reving it the car barely turns on and stutters at first but then idles fine, she then runs fine, if I turn off car then turn it back on there is no problem. its only when it sits for a while and cools off. ** over the past week I cleaned the iacv and TB....but problems started before that's why I cleaned out TB area. As well as seafoamed the car(1/3 thru vaccum less than 1/3 thru oil due to high miles, and more than 1/3 thru gas.). |
