A few weeks ago my shifter suddenly became difficult to move, and now I have to push it about half a notch forward to get it into the right spot to drive. Took it to get the emissions test done, and they pointed out a little bracket that had lost it's bolt, letting the linkage cable rest on the exhaust, and it melted the plastic sleeve on the cable, which caused the difficulty in moving the shifter.
So my question.. Will a linkage cable for an auto be the same as a manual tranny? I have looked all over Ebay and the rest of the internet to find a linkage cable for an auto tranny, and nobody seems to have them, but they do for the manual. Any info or feedback would be appreciated! -------------------- |
