i have always had a thing for steelies and was looking into steel banded steelies.
for those who dont know what banded steel wheels are... its basically a steelie that has been cut (usually around the inner side) and a band of steel added then welded back together to make them wider. eg a 16x6j to a 16x8j has anyone used banded steelies before? any issues? are they safe? is there any websites that sell steelies? i came across a site that done alot of retro style alloys and steelies but for the life of me i cant remember what it was. also, legality of using them doesn't bother me so dw about input on that. if any1 finds any info on them feel free to drop me some links. --------------------  "whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me" |
