I know Kurt has driven his, and Smaay has driven his, and there are others, I'm getting ready to build my first V6 swapped 6gc.
The shell that I'm going to be building also needs a new radiator, it went with a quick flip I sold this summer. So I am considering ordering up an Aluminum replacement, and having them put the inlet and outlet in the positions that would match my replacement motors locations, so I could use OEM replacement hoses, making it really easy to pick up when replacements are needed. I've also found that the 1994 Mazda Miata 1.8 seems to be a near copy of the 6gc radiator, with the exception that the inlet is on the passenger side, and the outlet is on the drivers side. Inlet size is still the 1.25 though. Miata Radiator it even looks like the fans are mounted in the same. Did you guys end up running with your stock radiators, and the hose cobos in your build threads, or have you since upgraded? |
