 doing my first timing/waterpump on the5sfe, got a couple questions |

already started the tear down and im taking my time...
as far as reasssembly goes, should i be using these sketchy paper gaskets? or would it be wiser to use a solid bead of rtv or high temp silicone gasket maker? and, im on the fence about replacing my oil pump as well, seeing as im in there... i already have replacement seals, and gaskets.... i feel like it would be silly not to replace the pump as well.... any tips or pointers are appreciated. thanks guys. -------------------- |
