 Automatic Shift knob button lock, Automatic Shift knob button lock doesnt work |

Hey guys i have an automatic shift knob and you should have to press in the button in order to change gears, mine doesn't work for some reason, the button goes in and out like it should. but i never have to depress the button in order to change gears. Does anyone know what goes out in these that make it do that?
