You should have the lower body stripes redone to match now!

I was thinking about doing that, but I'm not sure if I want them to blend in. I think that I need to keep something to break up the black.

I still can't believe it's a V6.

I still can't believe it's not butter. redface.gif Even though today's V6's make as much power as the V8's a generation back, I rather have the V8 for the exhaust note alone. I've thought about the V6 Mustangs and F-bodies, decently fast and still can 30+ on regular if babied. I just couldn't get past the fact it wasn't the V8 though.

With the exhaust i have on it, it sounds like a v8. I've had a lot of people surprised when I tell them it's a v6.

I can tell the difference though. Even a cammed V6 which can be fairly convincing at idle, gives itself away once the revs start to go up. There's nothing wrong with the V6 models, I just want the V8 burble and roar. tongue.gif I'd just sit and listen to my 429 Cadillac and feel the engine rock the car side to side. To me that's the magic of a V8.

Sooo... I never added the update. I ended up ordering even more stuff after this one.
I installed:
-Eibach front/rear sway bars
-SR lowering spring
-SR Front strut brace
-SR rear lower control arms
-J&M adjustable panhard bar
-BBK 73MM Throttle -body
-BBK Long tube-Headers
-BBK High Flow Catted X-pipe
-PowerStop drilled/slotted rotors w/ ceramic pads
-red Mustang caliper covers
-Aluminum Drive-shaft
-Performance package engine cover
-MMD hood scoop (matte black)
-MMD 1/4 window louvers
-MMD deck lid
-GT-500 style peddles
-GT-500 style spoiler
-Billet Upper & Lower Grille
-Roush front/side/rear splitters
-AMR 19" rims wrapped in Sumitomo summer tires

Shes on the road to a supercharger. Well.. Basically sitting in the driveway of the supercharger. It's the final item on the list to buy since I've got all the supporting mods for one now.

SC is interesting, that would make for a torquey cruiser. That V6 is not a willing engine for a pony car.

With my current mods, 8lbs of boost would put me right around the 435RWHP mark with around 370-380RWTQ

Looks great! I here recently sold my Celica so I'm more likely than not will be rejoining you in the domestic party, and by domestic I mean it was really made in Canada.

And then the spring meet broke his car.

Good luck tossing the stock arms back in, remember what I said about using a ratchet strap to help hold the axle in place for line up.

had it done in about an hour start-finish. I just grabbed the brake rotor and pulled it back into alignment to get the bolts back in. XD The Poly bushing wasn't even there anymore, not a sign of it anywhere and with it gone, the other side got messed up from all the rotating the axle was doing. By the time I drove home, the car wasn't just crabbing to the left on acceleration, it was going left and right when ever it wanted... constantly. sketchy drive to say the least but it's as good as new now.

The car looks great Zack. I'm glad that you were able to fix the bushing issue quickly.

I give you a lot of ****e for driving a mustang, but I honestly do really like the car. smile.gif
