Can take a utility blade and cut the crease to lay it over itself if it's terribly bothersome.

when doing a large curved glass like the back window you should get the pre cut 12" strips so it will lay down flat.

I did my doors a while back and it's the worst job I've ever done, looks like there's some great big rocks in the passenger side. It was getting late, I was tired : |
but after they dried it didn't look bad enough to make me want to take it off and do it over.

I wonder how well vinyl tint would work for stationary glass.

I tried that new "static cling" stuff they had and it was complete garbage. just get the good old kind. just be sure and clean the **** out of the glass first, scrape it with a razor blade and rubbing alcohol and clean it at least 4 times.

Also - today I went to Toyota and picked up a big handful of 10 dollar O-rings and seals; oilpump housing, crank seal, cam seal, strainer gasket, Axle seals, input shaft, rear main and housing.
I'll buy their $10 O-rings, but the guy **** his pants when I told him I got an Aisin oil pump on rockauto with the housing for $78

This is vinyl, like what you'd wrap your car with. It's meant for doing taillights and headlights, I had the thought about using it for really curvy glass as well. As long as it's not a window that rolls I don't see why it wouldn't work. I guess if the next car I get has a really curved back window I'll give it a chance.

Today I spend most of my time chasing a noise in my stereo. Turns out it was a loose soldering point in one of the filters.
Next I replaced both my a pillars(one was missing as I sold it).
Fixed the foot well UV light, and voltage meter was not showing correct values. And made a new path for the AUX cable so it's not crushed between two different interior trim pieces.

I think if it's made for that then the visibility may not be as clear as window tint is.

I have some on the way, so suppose will find out. Probably doesn't reflect UV and such though. Meh, at least all the glass on the Miata is flat. tongue.gif
