That's f**king hilarious. I'm definetly going to have to try that. So the GT doesn't have the rev limiter then?

Pretty sure not as a manual either - unless it's specific to 5th gear only or a certain speed that is in excess of 120MPH or 5250RPM.

I have a 94' ST and my rev limiter shuts me down at 115. And same here on the RPM's. It bothers me too. Im cruising down the interstate at like 85 and my rpms are at like 4000. I think it would provide for ****ty gas mileage. If those rpm's would go down the gas mileage would be phenomenal. And plus it feels like im running my car to death after the 1st fifty miles.

We need a 6th gear.
Has anyone successfully mated a 6-speed to either the 5S-FE or the 7A-FE?
