So I have a new amp on the way and a valve cover. I'm going to redo my engine bay so that it has red accents for a little flare to a stock engine bay. If I have the money i'm going to pick up the CF invader hood. I'm redoing all my interior pieces and going to get my guages hooked up so my pillar has life. I may possible make a new sub box and make a amp rack for my trunk but I'll have to see if I have enough time to do that in. But if anyone else has any ideas or comment i'm open for them.

UPDATED

Finally got my car back today after a month. I love the color, it looks awesome. I definitely stand out of the crowd. My paint guy did a good job but I need to fix his installation of my rear extensions, i did a better job the first time I installed it. But looks good overall. Just have to work on a couple alignment issues and it will be awesome.

& about to go install my TRD Strut bar, thanks fastGT, later

Any comments welcome. I want to put some neons under. Should I do red, orange, or yellow?? & no stickers on my car other than my parking permit.

You could modify the tail-lights cheaply and easily. While the car's getting repainted, you could shave the sidemarkers. You could shave the emblems. You could make a show-quality fiberglass sub enclosure and amp rack and have it painted the same time your car's getting painted. There's just a couple quick ideas.

Those rear extensions look really good...I like the way the car is coming together. smile.gif

i definitely need a different wing, i really like the hiro one but to late to try and get one of those.

What class should i go in?? I've never entered a show, i'm thinking mild but i'm not sure. Mild or conservative?? I dont think i'm in the wild class.

if u get the carbon fiber hood get gunmetal rims. ether keep the ones u have and have them paint or get new ones. i think that would look good.

The main thing is to do something that no one else has done. So just do something unique and do it well. I've shaved my sidemarkers, emblems, and put on the veilside-style kit and the hiro wing. To make my car a little different though, I've welded in a hood vent. So just be creative.

thinking about doing some custom (original) stuff in the engine bay. I'll get pics if my ideas happen. I think i'm just going to paint it, wait till school starts and see how much money i have left and buy stuff ASAP and get it in before the show. My friend may be driving his 300ZX too but he still needs work on his. Man i'm getting excited should be tons of fun. & i'm going to take my parents digital camera that takes awesome videos and tons of pictures.

UPDATE:
Talked to the guy painting my car yesterday. He's basically a restoration guy. Had a firebird, GTO, and dart there w/ some other old trucks that he was painting. But I'll drop my car off labor day weekend w/ my HOK paint. He'll start on it the 7th and I should get my car back Sept. 13th, which is the monday before i leave for the nopi show on fri. the 17th. So fresh paint smile.gif, but no washing frown.gif

I'll be soooooo happy to get this sucker one color. It's going to be great

curren tails
projectors

of course, you'd have to wait for all of them to be shipped. until then, you could always red out your tails. there is a FAQ on the board about doing that.
