I was wondering. Does the plastic that lines the inside of the fender serve any great purpose? One of them is damaged on my girlfriends celica and i was just going to take them off. It wont hurt anything will it?

its just to keep water/mud and objects from shooting into your engine bay. I would keep it on, but its probibly not a big dea.

Mine kinda ripped off when i had my bumper cover off. It gets a little dirtier, but, whatever. Its not absolutly necessary.

mine were pretty much falling off when I bought the car. So, I took them off and haven't had any problems.
