 burning oil |

My car lately has been burniing about a quart a week . I cant see any oil leaking anywhere . any ideas . already changed the valve cover gasket and still no fix .

sounds like piston rings are shot...my celica has the same problem... about a qrt every 1000miles though for me.

Does it smoke at all?
Maybe try some of those oil additives if you dont want to get the rings replaced.. -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

nope doesnt smoke at all . .... tried the oil additives and same thing.

check your spark plugs for carbon. could be your valve guides
