I no longer have a beater. But past beaters include an '88 Celica GT, '88 Celica GT-S, '91 Sentra SE-R, and a '93.5 G20. I wanna get a EG sedan for my new beater once I get a job. smile.gif

you have a nice set of "beaters" there LOL
i wouldn't mind getting a g20 myself. probably a little newer model though. i think a lot of people would want those to supe up. i think that they would all make nice sleepers.

I personally will never buy another SR20-powered car again. I've never had one that could idle, or drive without hesitation. And the more I tried to fix them the worse they got. It was a nice car besides that though. wink.gif

You should buy Robert's red one he was telling you about. No idle problems at all.

sort of off topic, idle problems on my good buddies sr20 (det) came down to a faulty temp sensor. it's basically just a resistor and it wasn't outputting correctly, making the ecu think the engine was too hot and thinning the a/f. the solution? wire up a ghetto project box from radio shack with two different resistors, in-line with the sensor, and flip the switch to idle. lame? probably. functional? oh, yes.

oh, yeah.

sadly my celica is my beater. $150 car that's in decent shape with a/c though. She smokes at 4800rpm and up, has bad orange peel (working on that now), leaks a qt of oil every two days, smells funny, has 16" volkswagen beetle mag wheels, no floor or defrost setting for hvac, no rear defroster, engine fans that run constantly, and has a bolt broke off on the oil pan which I still have to fix. She did have a cracked radiator, busted high beam, and a clock that reset every time the car turned off which I all fixed. I love my Emma to death though (that's the celi's name), and my so-called "non-beater" is my 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (hence the screen name OldsYota). Her name's Olivia and she needs a good deal of work too. I guess both of my cars are beaters, but I love 'em smile.gif

Check 'em out on Cardomain if you want. cardomain.com/1976f100 (I'm in the process of switching accounts)

UPDATE: I fixed the vent problem. The servo was unplugged from the control panel lol

98 Warngler Sport, 4" lift, 33" Baja's and 4.10's front and back. It will go pretty much everywhere. Nice change of pace when the celica was very limited being ~4" off the ground.
