I wouldn't buy an ST with that many miles for that much. Wait and try to find a good deal on a low milelage GT model.

gl on your search for a 6gc, I'd pass on the ST you found and take some time to find one w/ less miles.

any year model u guys prefer? i need it by the end of summer so i can wait. you guys are really nice for helping me, especially since i dont really know much.

The above pic of the '96-'99 front bumper doesn't do it justice. Look around on here and find a better pic. Also bear in mind that most of the later year ones have skirts and the 3 post wing. The '98-'99 GT's [5S-FE engine] got a few engine upgrades from the factory like metal headgasket tat are worth getting. All of these things are aesthetic choices you are gonna have to make for yourself.
The difference between the GT and ST are pretty noticeable as is the diff between auto and manual. Again this all up to you - it's gonna be your car after al and you are the one who has to love it.
IMO - save your money and get a '98-'99 low mileage GT with sideskirts and you'll have a great first car.

Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
Slow down Paul Walker.
