Alright, I intend on getting the combat kit sometime soon hopefully, but if not soon, I am going to get it. I'm just wanting to kno how many people have it, what their experiences were with it, if you would post pics of it, that would be great! From my understanding the fitment is just dreadful but I don't really care cuz once its done I think its one of the best looking kits. Also, if you had a shop do it what did that cost?? I'm sure I could get an estimate but I'm just trying to gather as much info as I can. Thanks! smile.gif

Combat kit is a great looking piece, but fitment is normally pretty rough and takes some work to get perfect.
and yes its something you'd want to leave up to a GOOD bodyshop....MAACO is NOT the place to go for this work

I agree with playr, MAACO isnt the place you'd want to do alot of stuff at rolleyes.gif

(i've never been but i've heard, and seen the horror stories...) My ex's mom had what we believed to be was an ass imprint in a hood... like someone just sat on the hood while the paint was drying. laugh.gif she had a fit and took it back, but still, it was funny.

there aren't too many people with that kit mainly because it's very hard to get it fitted and look right. importchick95 has it on her car and i think it looks amazing. my fav kit by far. i'm surprised that more companies didn't make it and improve the fitment. the only complaint i have about it is that it kinda makes the car kinda look like an integra lol.
i too had plans on getting this kit but found out how much work was involved in getting it to fit and decided to go a different route since i can't afford to have a body shop put it on for me.
from what i hear you also have to take out the stock crash bar or make your own one custom.
good luck on your endeavor.

Yeah, I'm not too thrilled to get it done, I might be lucky enough to have an aquaintance tho that can do body work, and it won't hardly cost me anything.. If this IS the case than I will prolly be the luckiest person ever!! I do have my mind set on this bumper tho no matter what it's going to cost me I think it just looks gorgeous. I don't really see your point on it looking like an integra tho.... oh well. The only thing that stinks is that I'm basically parting my car together slowly cuz of lack of funds, so I think wheels will be next along with lowering springs, then hopefully the kit.. Its quite a bit of money away tho.. frown.gif frown.gif frown.gif
And Importchick95 has been my main contact in getting info and stuff, I just wanted to know if anyone else has it and what not. And I agree with you, that bumper looks amazing on her car!! There was one other person on here that I saw who had it I don't remember the name but theirs looked amazing too. When it's done right it looks sexy
