My wife's '94 GT has a Borla "Turbo" series muffler on it and it sounds great. It's nice and quiet at idle, and not really "bassy" when cruising at highway speeds. It's a very comfortable sounding exhaust for long drives, but still sounds pretty mean under hard acceleration.

Just FYI, the whole system is a 4-1 header, small resonator in place of the cat, and 2 1/4" piping to the muffler.

Magnaflow FTW. I have a eBay 4-2-1 header, full 2.25" with Magnaflow cat and muffler. I was having some spitting/farting issues but that was because the guy I had do it for me didn't finish a weld completely and gave me a hollowed out resonator that had two holes in it. Went to another shop and they replaced the cat and finished the weld and I couldn't be happier. Deep throaty sound and smooth. Now to see what the 20v will sound like. laugh.gif

That's not the exact one I have but it's certainly close. I actually asked the guy to order a different one but he failed at that as well. I also bought a universal magnaflow cat that had a 2.25 inlet and outlet to make it easier for them to weld up, and a resonator of the same size to keep the volume down a tad. Where are you planning on getting your exhuast done? Chances are they'll have the cat in stock and they'll order the muffler for you with no money down.

They're usually run by really cool people so don't be shy when you let them know what you want and what you'd like it to look like.
