Greetings,
Well, after a few days research I just wanted to post what I found. You know those plastic push pieces that hold on various items (head liners, trim, panels) they are called various things. I found them called Nylon Fasteners, Nylon Retainer Clips, Christmas Tree Fasteners, and other descriptions. I came across the following link in EBAY and purchased the item, so wanted to share in case others are looking for similar clips. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Automotive...p3756.m14.l1318 The price might be a tad high but considering that you get multiple sizes, and that they are approx $5 per package at Auto Zone for just one size, this seemed to be the most cost effective and versatile solution. Again, I didn't find anything in the forum on this when I looked earlier, so thought I would post it. Additionally, these other websites helped http://www.thefastenerwarehouse.com/page/page/566976.htm http://www.thecliplink.com/index.php?targe...roduct_id=42245 Thanks Gary This post has been edited by gwolanske: Jul 30, 2008 - 9:41 AM |

Great Find
Yeah, this is a Repost, however the previous post only had a link to e-bay bid, and it's probably expired by now. Plus, your other two links are HIGHLY valuable! Good Job! A repost eh?
I searched and searched but couldn't find anything on this in the forums. (I'm trying to be a good newbie and not repeat what's been done already). Here's a link to the seller's ebay store...this shouldn't expire as long as the seller stays in business. http://stores.ebay.com/Page-Auto-Supply Gary |

I think my "search" issue was that I (and nobody else me thinks) didn't know what to call the darn things.
"Poppers", "Nylon Fasteners", "Nylon Rivets", "Christmas Tree Fasteners", "Shield Retainers"...... I searched and searched but nothing came up ...mostly cuz I didn't know what to call them. Anyways, whatever works best so others can find this info. |
