well there where 2 haha.

we both had fun, rider and i represented 6GC at the Holbert Memorial Auto-X at Warminister, PA

i had showed up late and was not able to walk the course before i ran.
still i pushed it and got a decent 71.537
my second run was about .4 slower haha
my third was red flagged due someone messing up on course so i was able to re-try
my retry is what messed up my total score, i was coming out of a turn and steered to much to the outside, almost running into a wall of cones, not thinking i slammed on the brakes throwing the weight forward, lifting the back up, all while turning which whipped the back end out.
i slowed to the finish with an 84.805 frown.gif

the second half of the day i did a bit better, still not redeeming my 84

70.702
69.319
67.537+2
the two cones had to be on my best run!

i also found out that i am in the wrong class, instead of BSP i should be in DSP
thats why i shouldnt be competing against these guys

'B Street Prepared'
1T BSP 13 Bob Gill 1997 BMW M3 coupe TechnoViolet 56.996 56.414+1 56.232 55.511
235895 Wheel Collision Center and Rogue Engineering 55.511 55.671 0.000

2T BSP 26 Marc Cantor 2004 Mitsubishi Evolution White 64.751 62.314 61.899 61.899
62.428 62.406 6.388

3 BSP 14 Chris Volpe 1995 BMW M3 Black 68.365 65.538 66.169 67.140
372758 Genius Motorsports 65.572 67.053 3.639

4 BSP 610 Mike Thoma 1995 Toyota Celica GT Fiesta Blue 71.537 71.932 84.805 70.702
Siks Tehn Entertainment - 6gc.net 69.319 67.537+2 3.781

this was a two day event but my second day was halted when driving there, no more than 2miles away from the track, my timing belt broke
frown.gif here are the a couple of pics i took. i took some video, but the timing belt is coming first

I went off-course on my first two runs, but I gradually got better. My 5th run was the quickest (and it was clean).

73.093+OFF
77.540+OFF
70.807
68.265
66.473
67.183+1

Considering this was my first time competing, I'm pretty happy with the results. I ran in STS because I have lowering springs but there are definitely a few more mods that I can do and be competitive in the same class.

Here's some pics

^ The owner of the Lotus is a really cool guy who was working at my station when the other groups ran, and I got to ride in the Exige for one the dude's runs biggrin.gif... Doesn't get much better than that! The car is supercharged and it pushes 220 hp. That thing is faaaasst!!!

Sorry I couldn't join you guys this weekend.
Rider, did you try calling me on Sunday? I was on the phone with Mike trying to help him troubleshoot.

Yeah, I was trying to figure out if anyone from 6gc was going to be there, so I called you and Eric but his phone was off. I thought the event was gonna be canceled because at one point it was raining pretty hard.

it started raining there around 2, right in the middle of the second half of the day probably.

if the belt didnt snap i could have ran my 4runs in the morning w/o a drop of rain falling like planned

looks like you two had a good time. I have to say towards the end of the day on my last runs every turn has little pieces of rubber everywhere.... it's like trying to take a turn on ice......
